Effective date: August 11, 2026
</aside>
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the Mirror · Mirror mobile application (the “Application”) provided by Jeje Labs (the “Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
<aside>
The Application is licensed, not sold, for personal and non-commercial use. No account or login is required.
For an iOS download, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a valid custom license agreement is provided through App Store Connect. These Terms supplement the applicable Apple agreement. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory App Store term or applicable consumer law, that term or law controls.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the Application except as required by law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent applicable to the licensed Application.

The Application provides mirror and camera display modes, optional face-alignment guidance, locally stored photo diary and comparison features, widgets, reminders, location-based reminders, advertising, and optional paid features. Features may vary by device, operating-system version, region, permission choice, purchase status, or Application version.
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal, or business reasons. Where reasonably practicable, material changes will be announced through the Application or the policy page.

Our handling of information is described separately in the Privacy Policy:
Mirror · Mirror Privacy Policy
Using the Application does not replace any separate consent required by law. Camera, Photos, notifications, location, background location, and tracking features operate only after the relevant iOS permission or consent flow. Users may change permissions in iOS Settings, although some features may then be unavailable.

<aside>
The Application may use Apple’s on-device Vision framework to detect a face bounding rectangle and image orientation for alignment and display. It does not perform facial recognition, identify a person, create a biometric template, or use Face ID or TrueDepth data.
Automatic face processing occurs locally. Face photos are saved only when the user chooses to capture or save them. Face Data is not provided to analytics or advertising providers. Full details about collection, purpose, storage, sharing, retention, and deletion appear in Section 2 of the Privacy Policy.
The face-alignment, comparison, timelapse, and report features are provided for personal reflection and convenience. They are not medical, dermatological, diagnostic, biometric-identification, or professional advice and should not be relied on for those purposes.

“User Content” means photos, diary entries, notes, tags, saved places, preferences, and other content that the user creates or selects in the Application. The user retains ownership of User Content. The Service Provider does not claim a license to use locally stored User Content merely because the Application processes it on the device.
User Content is primarily stored on the user’s device. The user controls any voluntary export or sharing. The user is responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to capture, store, export, or share content, including consent when another person’s face or personal information appears.
The user is responsible for device security and backups. Deleting a record removes the Application’s local original and associated diary data, subject to temporary local widget caching described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting the Application does not delete copies previously exported to Photos, shared elsewhere, or retained in an Apple or computer backup.

If enabled, location-based reminders use iOS location services to monitor a user-selected place and generate local reminders. The user must grant the necessary permission and can disable the feature or delete saved places at any time. Continued background operation is not guaranteed because it depends on iOS, device settings, battery management, and permission status.
Location reminders are a convenience feature. Users remain responsible for their own schedules, safety, and decisions and should not rely on the feature in emergencies or situations where a missed notification could cause harm.

The free version may display ads through Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network mediation. Personalized advertising or access to the iOS advertising identifier is subject to App Tracking Transparency and other applicable consent choices. If tracking permission is denied, contextual or non-personalized ads may still be displayed.
Face Data, saved photos, diary content, and saved precise location are not provided to advertising providers. Third-party ads and linked services are governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy practices.

The Application may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. The features, localized price, billing period, and any offer shown in the App Store purchase screen at the time of purchase control.
Payments are charged to the user’s Apple Account through the App Store after purchase confirmation. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. The user can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the Application does not cancel a subscription.
A lifetime purchase is a non-consumable entitlement for the supported lifetime of the current Application and associated Apple Account; it is not a guarantee that every feature or the Application will remain available forever. The user may use Restore Purchases where available. Restore availability depends on Apple records, the same Apple Account, App Store availability, and applicable platform rules.
Refunds, billing disputes, price-change consent, taxes, and payment processing are handled by Apple under App Store rules and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits a mandatory refund, withdrawal, or consumer right.

The Application, its software, design, branding, and Service Provider-created content are owned by or licensed to Jeje Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only the limited right to use the Application. They do not transfer ownership of the Application or Service Provider content.

<aside>
The Application may depend on iOS, App Store, Apple services, Firebase, advertising providers, networks, or other third-party services. We do not control their availability or policies. Updates may be required for continued operation, security, compatibility, or legal compliance.
The Application and its features are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the delivery of every notification, or preservation of local data after device failure, operating-system changes, permission changes, backup failure, or user action.

<aside>
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Application is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. Jeje Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from use of the Application where such exclusion is permitted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

<aside>
Users may stop using the Application and uninstall it at any time. Subscription cancellation must be completed separately through Apple Account settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms, continue after use ends.

<aside>
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Application, business, providers, or legal requirements. The updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date, and previous versions may be retained as linked archive pages. Where required, material changes will be announced by a reasonable in-app or other notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer’s residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law will hear disputes. Before filing a claim, users are encouraged to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
